Branch Brook Park

Newark Site Plan: The Reflectors

Home: Welcome

Our Mission

Innovative & Historic

Since its debut in 1895, Branch Brook Park has been recognized as the nation's first county park. It is known commonly for its Cherry Blossom Festival and trees. Unfortunately, this perception oftentimes neglects the other historic values of the park and its influence within a community. Our job is centered around changing the perception of the park and utilizing a specific area of land to provide new opportunities and resources.

We want to create statues of the people who trained on these grounds during the Civil War to educate honor those who served the country.
